How to Play Battleship
- Your Fleet: You command a fleet of 10 ships of various sizes.
- Placement: Arrange your fleet on the "Your Fleet" grid. Ships cannot overlap. Click a ship to rotate it or drag it to move it.
- Objective: The goal is to sink all 10 of your opponent's ships before they sink yours.
- Gameplay: Take turns firing shots at the enemy's grid. A red 'X' indicates a hit, and a blue dot indicates a miss.
Strategy & Tips
- Don't Cluster Your Ships: Placing all your ships close together makes you an easy target. Spread them out across the board to make it harder for the AI to guess their locations.
- Checkerboard Pattern: When hunting for enemy ships, fire in a checkerboard pattern (e.g., A1, A3, A5, B2, B4, etc.). This maximizes your chances of finding a ship without wasting shots.
- Hunt Mode: Once you score a hit, stop firing randomly. Focus your next shots on the squares immediately surrounding the hit to sink the ship as quickly as possible.
